The PROGRESS FILMVERLEIH is the worldwide exclusive, commercial evaluator of the complete DEFA cinema film stock of the GDR. With a film collection of about 15,000 films of all genres and a unique fund of contemporary historical cutting material from seven decades, PROGRESS is one of the largest and oldest classical film evaluators in Germany. Since 2013, Progress Film Distribution has been part of the Icestorm Group.
